What Climb27 does for an advisory firm

Clients who are buying.

The room is companies that are trading and growing: the ones hiring advisers for a raise, a new market, a hire or a sale. You pick who to meet, and they are listed for you.

Expertise on show.

Roundtables and workshops put you across a table from a curated audience that asked for your expertise. Talks and panels put you on the stage they came for.

A stand that sells.

Partner stands sit on the main floor with the traffic, come with a workshop or roundtable slot, meeting space you can book for clients, tickets for your team, and a summary of your activity on site to take back to the partners' meeting.

01

New clients, with a return you can show

Competition is tougher and events have to justify their share of the marketing budget.

Climb27 is built so the return is visible. The companies attending are listed, you request the ones that match your practice, the meetings are logged, and partners get a summary of their activity on site. No stand sits in a corner hoping for footfall.

  • Meetings requested by you, accepted by the client, logged for your report
  • Workshops and roundtables with a curated audience
  • A summary of partner activity on site

Reaching growing businesses, not browsers

02

Reaching growing businesses, not browsers

Small and medium employers go to accountants, consultants and solicitors for advice on finance, growth and legal questions.

That is the room. ClimbUK is for businesses already trading and growing, which is exactly when they buy advice. Finance, growth and legal are the three topics they come to work on.

  • Companies raising, hiring, exporting and selling
  • Founders who book advisers through the app before they arrive
  • Meet-the-adviser roundtables by topic

03

CPD hours that are easy to claim

Professional bodies want hours, and chasing certificates for each session is a chore.

Climb27 is CPD certified and accredited at event level. Your time on site counts, and so does your team's.

  • Accredited at event level
  • Workshops and panels on finance, growth and legal
  • Bring the team and bank the hours together

Who's in the room

Advice sells where businesses are already moving. That is who turns up.

Scaling companies

What they bring
the growing businesses of the North and beyond: trading, hiring, raising, selling, and buying help to do it.
What they want
advisers, suppliers, investors and buyers who can move them on this year.

Companies raising equity

What they bring
a round in preparation or open now, a product in the market and a team behind it.
What they want
investors to build a relationship with, and advice on the pitch, the numbers and the terms.

University commercialisation teams

What they bring
research ready for market, spinout founders and knowledge exchange budgets.
What they want
industry partners, investors for spinouts and a place to put their work in front of business.

Councils and combined authorities

What they bring
the businesses they back, growth plans and the people who run business support.
What they want
investors and buyers for their companies, partners to deliver with, evidence to report.

Investors

What they bring
an appetite for real deal flow and portfolio experience. They attend to meet companies, not to speak.
What they want
companies already trading, founders they can build a relationship with, and co-investors.

Professional services firms

What they bring
legal, finance, advisory and technology expertise, stands, workshops and roundtables.
What they want
growing companies that need what they do, and firms to bid alongside.

How the two days work

30 June and 1 July 2027.
Doors open at 09:00; the evening runs as late as you do.

1

Before

Your ticket unlocks the ClimbGroup Event App. Build your list of who to meet, request meetings and let the networking tools find the people you should know before you arrive.

2

Day one, 30 June

09:00: the grand opening performance and the headline partner announcements. Partners run their stand and workshops from the first session; delegates book client meetings between the main stage sessions. The evening is the VIP drinks reception and the ClimbAwards ceremony.

3

Day two, 1 July

The business-focused day: meet-the-adviser roundtables, the deals that started on day one getting finalised, and the follow-up meetings. wrapped up in the after parties with an unmissable Climb27 experience in the evening. Details to be announced soon.

4

After

Three in four people who come leave with follow-ups that matter: a sale, a partnership, an investment or funding. Every meeting stays in your account with the contact details, partners get a summary of their activity on site, and the printed programme keeps your name in front of every ticket holder long after the event.

Business with a party. Not a party for business.

The festival aspect came second. ClimbUK grew out of the Investor Ladder events that have run since 2016, where founders and investors met because they had business to do. We are one of the first business festivals in the UK, built around that: the deals, the introductions and the advice come first, and the opening performance, the ClimbAwards, the drinks receptions and the after parties exist because business gets done faster between people who have enjoyed each other's company.

Roundtables and workshops

Curated rooms of ten to twenty people with the same problem, led by someone who has solved it.

The grand opening

Day one opens on the main stage with a live performance and the headline partner announcements. Nobody is late for this one.

ClimbAwards at the VIP drinks reception

One room, the businesses of the year and the people who back them. The ClimbAwards are handed out inside the VIP drinks reception, and that is the night everyone talks about.

Still on the fence?

Clients. Every company attending is listed, you request the ones that match your practice, and they accept. A partnership adds a workshop or roundtable with a curated audience, a stand on the main floor and a summary of your activity on site for the partners' meeting.

Yes. Climb27 is CPD certified and accredited at event level, so your hours on site count towards your professional development without chasing a certificate for each session.

Yes. Standard and VIP tickets are in the shop, and the team discount applies. Partnering adds the stand, the workshop slot and the printed programme advertising.

Yes. Technology firms that serve growing businesses are service providers at ClimbUK, and this page is yours.

Please do. The feedback we get most is that there is too much to do, so bring your COO, bring your marketing director, bring your techie. Let each of them go to the sessions built for their job, then reconvene for a debrief in one of the private bookable meeting spaces. Buy four or more standard two-day tickets together and 25% comes off.

Climb27's programme is curated to what matters in the weeks before the event, and we publish each session once we are certain the room will benefit from it. Some events lock their agenda years out; by the time the doors open the world has moved. In fast-moving fields like AI, a session planned twelve months ahead teaches what every tool you use already does. We would rather hold the slot and fill it with what you need on the day. Tickets bought now cover the full programme, and the main stage moments are announced as they are confirmed.

Still deciding?

Three in four people who come leave with follow-ups that matter: a sale, a partnership, an investment or funding.

Thirty minutes with the team answers the rest. Ask anything, from the programme to who else is coming.
