Meet the people who buy expertise
Two days with the scaling companies, universities and councils that hire consultants, the firms that bid alongside them, and a workshop or talk slot to show what you know.
What Climb27 does for a consultant
Buyers you choose.
Every company attending is listed. Pick the ones that need what you do, request meetings before you arrive, and fill both days with them.
Partners to bid with.
Firms and other consultants are in the same room. ClimbUK is where the joint bids that win bigger work get started.
Seen as the expert.
Workshops and talks put you in front of companies with a live problem. Speaker applications for Climb27 are open now.
Three things you need
What do you need as a consultant?
01
A steady flow of clients
Word of mouth is how most consultants find work, and the pipeline is only as good as the last conversation.
Two days of conversations with the people who hire consultants, and the networking tools to pick them before you arrive. The networking and social events are the highest-rated part of ClimbUK for a reason.
- Scaling companies, universities and councils that hire advisers
- Meeting requests accepted before you arrive
- The drinks receptions and after parties, where the referrals happen

02
Being seen as the expert, not the salesperson
Nobody hires the consultant who sold hardest; they hire the one who taught them something.
Run a workshop, sit on a panel, host a roundtable. The curated rooms are full of people who asked for that expertise, and the printed programme carries your name home with every ticket holder.
- Workshops and roundtables with a curated audience
- Speaker applications open now
- Printed programme advertising through partnerships
03
Bigger work than one person can deliver
The best contracts need a team. Finding partners you trust is slow.
Firms and other consultants are in the room to find exactly that, and the partnerships team can give you a dedicated meeting space, a workshop or a networking event to run it from.
- Firms and consultants to bid alongside
- Dedicated meeting spaces through partnerships
- CPD accredited at event level, so the hours count too

Who's in the room
Advice sells where businesses are already moving. That is who turns up.

How the two days work
30 June and 1 July 2027.
Doors open at 09:00; the evening runs as late as you do.
1
Before
Your ticket unlocks the ClimbGroup Event App. Build your list of who to meet, request meetings and let the networking tools find the people you should know before you arrive.
2
Day one, 30 June
09:00: the grand opening performance and the headline partner announcements. Workshops, roundtables and your booked meetings through the day, then the VIP drinks reception and the ClimbAwards ceremony, which is where the day's conversations turn into dinner invitations.
3
Day two, 1 July
The business-focused day: the meet-the-adviser roundtables, the deals that started on day one getting agreed, and the follow-up meetings. wrapped up in the after parties with an unmissable Climb27 experience in the evening. Details to be announced soon.
4
After
Three in four people who come leave with follow-ups that matter: a sale, a partnership, an investment or funding. Yours start before you have left the building: every meeting and contact stays in your account, and the after parties finish the conversations the sessions started.
Business with a party. Not a party for business.
The festival aspect came second. ClimbUK grew out of the Investor Ladder events that have run since 2016, where founders and investors met because they had business to do. We are one of the first business festivals in the UK, built around that: the deals, the introductions and the advice come first, and the opening performance, the ClimbAwards, the drinks receptions and the after parties exist because business gets done faster between people who have enjoyed each other's company.
Roundtables and workshops
Curated rooms of ten to twenty people with the same problem, led by someone who has solved it.
The grand opening
Day one opens on the main stage with a live performance and the headline partner announcements. Nobody is late for this one.
After parties
Day two wraps up with the after parties, where the deals of the day get agreed, and an unmissable Climb27 experience in the evening. Details to be announced soon.
Still on the fence?
A diary of meetings with people who hire consultants, a room to show your expertise in, the partners for your next bid, and the drinks receptions where the referrals happen. Two days at Climb27 replace a quarter of cold outreach.
Get into the printed programme, which every ticket holder takes home, and talk to the partnerships team about a dedicated meeting space, a workshop or a networking event with your name on it.
The ClimbGroup Event App suggests who you should meet and the networking tools find them before the event starts. On the day, the roundtables, the drinks receptions and the after parties do the rest.
Yes. Climb27 is CPD certified and accredited at event level, so your hours on site count towards your professional development without chasing a certificate for each session.
Climb27's programme is curated to what matters in the weeks before the event, and we publish each session once we are certain the room will benefit from it. Some events lock their agenda years out; by the time the doors open the world has moved. In fast-moving fields like AI, a session planned twelve months ahead teaches what every tool you use already does. We would rather hold the slot and fill it with what you need on the day. Tickets bought now cover the full programme, and the main stage moments are announced as they are confirmed.
There are start-up focused sessions and pitching time, but start-ups are not our bread and butter: ClimbUK is for businesses that are trading and growing. If you want a start-up focused festival we are happy to point you at partners who do it brilliantly, Ideas Fest and Helpbnk among them.
Still deciding?
Three in four people who come leave with follow-ups that matter: a sale, a partnership, an investment or funding.
Thirty minutes with the team answers the rest. Ask anything, from the programme to who else is coming.
