What Climb27 does for a growth team

Your businesses, in the room.

Bring a delegation of the companies you back. They get the specialist workshops, CPD-accredited training, real investors to meet, and a stage to showcase your region to the start-ups and scale-ups looking for their next home.

Investors and buyers to meet them.

Angels, funds, lenders and corporate buyers attend to meet companies. Your businesses sit across the table from them, in the roundtables and the private meeting spaces.

An impact report you can take back.

After the event the partnerships team sends an impact report: the meetings your businesses had, who was in the room, and the wider audience figures, ready for your committee.

Three things you need

What does your growth team need?

  1. 01Local growth you can evidence
  2. 02Value for every pound
  3. 03Your region on the map

01

Showing local growth you can evidence

Growth plans need outcomes: access to finance, uptake of advice, supply-chain links.

Climb27 produces exactly those outcomes, and records them. Your businesses meet finance, advice and buyers in two days, and the impact report gives you the evidence.

  • Investor and meet-the-buyer roundtables for your delegation
  • CPD-accredited workshops for the businesses you bring
  • The impact report after the event

Value for every pound

02

Value for every pound

Budgets are watched and spend is scrutinised. The case has to be clear before it is signed.

Our partner manager builds the package round what you need to report, tickets are included, and the earlier you commit the better the deal. We will work with you on the financial planning.

  • Packages built round your outcomes
  • Tickets included for your delegation
  • Early commitment gets the best terms

03

Putting your region on the map

Companies choosing where to grow need a reason to look at you.

A regional session on the Climb27 stage, a stand on the main floor, and the ClimbUK regional events that run all year. Showcase the region to the start-ups and scale-ups in the room, and keep the conversation going at the next event in your patch.

  • A regional session through partnerships
  • ClimbUK regional events year round
  • An affiliate programme that turns your business-support network into ticket sales for them

Who's in the room

ClimbUK is for businesses already moving. That is the room your companies walk into.

Scaling companies

What they bring
the growing businesses of the North and beyond: trading, hiring, raising, selling, and buying help to do it.
What they want
advisers, suppliers, investors and buyers who can move them on this year.

Investors

What they bring
an appetite for real deal flow and portfolio experience. They attend to meet companies, not to speak.
What they want
companies already trading, founders they can build a relationship with, and co-investors.

Buyers and corporate partners

What they bring
procurement budgets, supply-chain gaps and a brief to find suppliers who can deliver at scale.
What they want
growing companies they can work with this year, not a pitch deck.

University commercialisation teams

What they bring
research ready for market, spinout founders and knowledge exchange budgets.
What they want
industry partners, investors for spinouts and a place to put their work in front of business.

Incubators and accelerators

What they bring
a cohort of founders, demo-day energy and a funder to report to.
What they want
investors, buyers and partners for their founders, and other programmes to work with.

Other authorities

What they bring
growth plans, business-support teams and the companies they back.
What they want
partners to deliver with, and what worked elsewhere.

How the two days work

30 June and 1 July 2027.
Doors open at 09:00; the evening runs as late as you do.

1

Before

Book a call with our partner manager to shape the delegation or package. Your businesses get their tickets, build their lists and request meetings.

2

Day one, 30 June

09:00: the grand opening performance and the headline partner announcements, then the regional session and your delegation's booked meetings. The evening is the VIP drinks reception and the ClimbAwards ceremony, with your businesses in the room that backs them.

3

Day two, 1 July

The business-focused day: meet-the-buyer and investor roundtables, the deals your companies started on day one getting agreed, wrapped up in the after parties with an unmissable Climb27 experience in the evening. Details to be announced soon.

4

After

Three in four people who come leave with follow-ups that matter: a sale, a partnership, an investment or funding. The partnerships team sends the impact report: meetings, audience and partner activity, and the next ClimbUK regional event in your area keeps it going.

Business with a party. Not a party for business.

The festival aspect came second. ClimbUK grew out of the Investor Ladder events that have run since 2016, where founders and investors met because they had business to do. We are one of the first business festivals in the UK, built around that: the deals, the introductions and the advice come first, and the opening performance, the ClimbAwards, the drinks receptions and the after parties exist because business gets done faster between people who have enjoyed each other's company.

The grand opening

Day one opens on the main stage with a live performance and the headline partner announcements. Nobody is late for this one.

Roundtables and workshops

Curated rooms of ten to twenty people with the same problem, led by someone who has solved it.

ClimbAwards at the VIP drinks reception

One room, the businesses of the year and the people who back them. The ClimbAwards are handed out inside the VIP drinks reception, and that is the night everyone talks about.

Still on the fence?

The meetings your delegation had, who was in the room by type, the audience figures for the event and the partner activity on site. Built for a committee paper, not a marketing deck.

As early as you can. The earlier a partnership is signed the better the deal, and we will work with you on the financial planning to make that possible.

A partnership includes tickets. For more, four or more standard two-day tickets bought together save 25%, or contact your partner manager for better terms on a bigger delegation.

ClimbUK runs regional events all year round. Talk to the partnerships team about a regional session at Climb27 and what the next event in your region could look like.

Yes. Climb27 is CPD certified and accredited at event level, so your hours on site count towards your professional development without chasing a certificate for each session.

Climb27's programme is curated to what matters in the weeks before the event, and we publish each session once we are certain the room will benefit from it. Some events lock their agenda years out; by the time the doors open the world has moved. In fast-moving fields like AI, a session planned twelve months ahead teaches what every tool you use already does. We would rather hold the slot and fill it with what you need on the day. Tickets bought now cover the full programme, and the main stage moments are announced as they are confirmed.

Still deciding?

Three in four people who come leave with follow-ups that matter: a sale, a partnership, an investment or funding.

Thirty minutes with the team answers the rest. Ask anything, from the programme to who else is coming.
