These Booking Conditions form the basis of the Contract between you and The Investor Ladder Limited (“Climb Retreats”). Please read them carefully before booking. Upon payment for your Climb Retreat, you irrevocably agree to all the terms and conditions below.

General

All Climb Retreats are delivered in partnership with Challenge The Wild (www.challengethewild.com). All activities are risk assessed, and further details can be provided on request. All participants are covered under Challenge The Wild's Public Liability Insurance whilst taking part in the event. 

Reservations

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required. The balance must be paid no later than eight weeks before the departure date. Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you a confirmation email and formally reserve your place at your chosen event.

Once confirmed, a contract will exist between you and Climb Retreats. We reserve the right to refuse a booking without explanation, in which case any deposit will be refunded.

For group bookings, you confirm and guarantee that you have the authority to accept these booking conditions on behalf of your entire party. Each member of your group will receive a registration form and a health questionnaire, both of which must be completed and returned within seven days.

Travel to Event Starting Point

Please note that all travel to and from the Event is the booker's sole responsibility and is not included in the event price.

Cancellation / Modifications by You

Cancellation

You or any party member may cancel your reservation at any time by emailing retreat@investorladder.com. The cancellation notice date will be the date it is received by Climb Retreats.

Cancellation Charges:

·       More than eight weeks before the event start date: Deposit is non-refundable.

·       Within eight weeks of the event start date: No refunds will be given. However, you may transfer your booking to another event if places are available.

Please note that any cancellation fees for travel, accommodation, or other costs are solely your responsibility, and no liability shall be attached to Climb Retreats.

If your insurance covers your cancellation reason, you may be able to reclaim these charges.

Illness or Injury

If you are unable to attend due to a medical condition within eight weeks of the expedition start date, you may provide a medical certificate to request a transfer to another event within 12 months, pending availability.

This option ceases after 12 months.

Modifications by Climb Retreats

While it is unlikely, we may need to change your event date, itinerary, or planned activities due to unforeseen circumstances. Major changes due to Acts of God or force majeure will result in refunds or alternative event dates, minus any irrecoverable expenses.

Please note that the line-up of Guest Speakers may be subject to change, and the contents of the gift bag are also subject to change.

Cancellation by The Investor Ladder Limited

Climb Retreats reserves the right to cancel your event up to eight weeks before the start date if, for example, the minimum number of participants is not reached. You will be offered a full refund or an alternative event date. In cases of cancellation due to Acts of God or force majeure, refunds or alternative values will be provided after deducting irrecoverable expenses. Any bank charges for refunds are your responsibility.

Miscellaneous Issues

Force Majeure

Climb Retreats is not liable or obligated to pay compensation for cancellations or changes due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Formalities

Please ensure you have valid travel documents, insurance, and any required vaccinations.

Valuables

Climb Retreats is not responsible for theft or damage of personal property. We recommend ensuring you have adequate insurance for your belongings.

Extra Activities

Climb Retreats is not responsible for any damages incurred from activities outside the expedition itinerary.

Complaints and Arbitration

If you encounter an issue during your expedition, please inform our team immediately. If unresolved, follow up in writing to retreats@investorladder.com within 28 days. Failure to report complaints during the expedition may affect your rights under this contract.

Responsibilities

Promotional photographs and illustrations are for representation purposes only and are not contractually binding. Our liability for sea and rail travel is limited as per relevant International Conventions. Any facilities outside the event locations are the sole responsibility of their providers.

We may offer advice and assistance for incidents during your expedition, but legal action requires our prior written consent. Transportation providers’ terms may affect your compensation rights. You are responsible for any damage caused to the venue or its contents by you or your party.

The Investor Ladder Limited asserts its rights under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. No part of our publications may be reproduced without written approval.

Governing Law

These booking conditions are governed by English Law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. You agree not to pursue legal action in any other jurisdiction.
