How to view projects

Use this article when you need to open the standard Odoo portal project list and drill into a shared project.

Stay organised: pin `/my/projects` in your browser tab group next to `/my/tasks` so status meetings stay painless.

Before you start

  • Open My Projects while signed in to your Climb account.
  • Have the project reference or event name ready so you recognise the correct row when several are visible.

Who can do this

Portal visibility follows Odoo project sharing rules (customer/collaborator). Organisation sub-users should also keep the `Projects / Tasks` permission enabled on `/my/company` so automated follower sync continues to include them.

Steps

  1. Navigate to /my/projects and wait for the portal layout to finish loading.
  2. Scan the list for the internal reference or customer-facing name your PM shared.
  3. Open the project entry Odoo renders (hyperlink or row action) to review tasks, documents, and chatter you are allowed to see as a portal follower.

Check the result

  • You can open the project you were assigned without hunting through unrelated programmes.
  • The reference codes on the portal match the latest email or statement of work.

If something does not work

  • If the grid is empty, your portal partner is not linked as a customer or collaborator on any active project—ask the delivery lead to re-invite you.
  • If you suddenly lose access after an admin edited permissions, ask them to re-enable Projects / Tasks on /my/company so follower sync adds you back to the right projects.
