How to check on the status of my session

Use this article when you need to read the organiser-controlled stage and scheduled slot for a proposal.

Before you start

 • Open Event Sessions while signed in to your Climb account.
 • Have the event name in mind so you open the correct proposal when you manage several submissions.

Who can do this

Same ownership rule as editing: you must be the portal contact stored on the event.track proposal.

Steps

 1. Open the proposal via
Open
on the
Event Sessions
list.
 2. Read the
Status
card at the top of the
Session Proposal
page.
 3. Note the
Stage
row—this is the workflow position maintained by the events team.
 4. If a slot exists, review
Date
,
Time
,
Duration
, and
Location
rows inside the same card.
 5. If the card states
No date or time is assigned to this session yet.
, scheduling is still pending on the organiser side.

Check the result

 • You can clearly state the current stage and whether a slot is assigned.
 • You captured any shown date, time, duration, and location text for your internal run-of-show.

If something does not work

 • Stages only change when organisers update them in the back office; refreshing the portal does not speed that up.
 • If slot fields stay empty after the organiser promised a time, reply via the communications channel they gave you—those fields are not editable in the portal form.
